14 DAY TRIAL // Thermalright announced the launch of a new chipset passive cooling solution, the HR-05/IFX cooler that is a kind of going back to basics solution, as the manufacturing company never really approved the current industry trend of using complex heatpipe systems for the entire motherboard. The new Thermalright passive cooler solution comes based on the patented Wild Fire design which ensures an increased surface area for optimal heat dissipation and this design is compatible with almost any 80mm fan. HR-05/IFX is combining a new and improved retention mechanism for a more sturdy and firm mount, while allowing for a greater motherboard compatibility. Because of its light design and low weight, the new cooler does not stress the mainboard like most heavy, mono block heatpipe passive cooling solutions do.
