This turquoise McDonald's doesn't look anything like a hamburgers' paradise

There is one very good reason McDonald's restaurants are red and yellow. Red is the color of passion for junk food, and yellow stands for the liver damage one too many hamburgers and French fries servings can cause.

Authorities in the city of Sedona in Arizona, US, must either know diddly-squat about this symbolism, or simply not give a rodent's dorsal side about it. Hence their decision to force McDonald's into opening a turquoise restaurant.

The peculiar fast food joint, a photo of which is available next to this article, looks nothing like the hamburgers' paradise it is supposed to be. On the contrary, it perfectly blends in with its surroundings.

It's still unclear how fast food enthusiasts manage to find it (especially during those hard time when they are blinded by hunger), but one can only assume that they rely on top secret signals. Then again, maybe they just use their sense of smell.

As detailed by Daily Mail, McDonald's isn't exactly thrilled about the color of this restaurant in Arizona either. In fact, it seems that, if given the chance, the company would have fitted the joint with its trademark yellow logo.

It was high officials in the city of Sedona who told the fast food chain that, unless ready and willing to abide by local legislation concerning what buildings are supposed to look like and build a turquoise restaurant, it might as well pack its bags and leave.

Not at all surprisingly, it looks like McDonald's likes green (a.k.a. the color of money) way more than it does red and yellow. Hence the fact that it gave into Sedona officials' demands, and opened what is believed to be its first turquoise restaurant ever.

Apart from the fact that the McDonald's logo adorning this fast food joint looks nothing like the ones fitted on other restaurants across the country, the building is painted in reddish colors and orange. It was painted like this to make sure that it would not clash with the desert background.

It's still unclear whether the food sold at this restaurant also comes in turquoise containers, or if authorities proved courteous enough to give the thumbs up to the use of regular ones. Then again, this does not even matter all that much. What's important is that the food is tasty and healthy.

In case anyone was wondering, there are plenty of other bizarre McDonald's restaurants in the world. Of these, one sits inside a disused plane laid to rest in New Zealand, and another one is located inside a mansion in Georgia.
