14 DAY TRIAL // The lottery ticket instated by Apple for purchasing WWDC tickets has yielded a few extra chances for unlucky developers who didn’t initially manage to nab a seat at the conference.
The reason is that some of the luckier people who did manage to win a spot have failed to confirm their intentions to be present at the developer gathering, leaving those tickets open for re-sale.
Apple has put these tickets back into circulation and is now reaching out to developers in a similarly-random manner. If you’re one of the lucky ones, an email should have arrived in your inbox saying, “please complete your purchase within 24 hours by clicking the link below.”
Developers must match their purchase with the Apple ID associated with their developer account.
The Cupertino company adds, “Once you have submitted your order, you’ll receive an order acknowledgement email from Apple Developer Program Support. After your order is processed, you’ll receive a ticket confirmation email.” Developers who require more clarification are directed to the company’s contact form.
The Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2014 takes places June 2-6 at San Francisco’s Moscone West. Apple will be offering an in-depth look at the latest technologies in iOS and OS X.
