14 DAY TRIAL // Thecus has made available the 1.05.00.23 beta firmware update targeted at its N4100EVO and N2200EVO NAS servers, which improves the overall HDD compatibility while RAID rebuilding.
In order to boost up your NAS, first log into the unit’s web interface and check the currently installed firmware version so that it isn’t either newer or matching the present release. To do so, simply go to System Management > Firmware Upgrade.
If all is OK, save the downloadable file, click the “Browse” button on the Firmware Upgrade page, navigate and select the .rom file, press “Apply,” and then select “OK” at the dialog window that asks for your permission to apply the new firmware.
