Square Enix has just made a ton of Final Fantasy fans happy today, announcing that their upcoming fan service dungeon crawling rhythm game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is going to also land on North American Nintendo 3DSes sometime later this year.

The game features a whopping 221 awesome songs from within every game in the Final Fantasy series, starting with the initial 1987 release and concluding with the massively multiplayer online role-playing game based in the fantasy universe, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and even two bonus tracks from the Romancing SaGa games.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is the follow-up game to 2012's Theatrhythm Final Fantasy and will bring over 60 playable characters from all over the series, including the likes of Ramza, Zack, Yuna, Barret, and many others.

The new Versus Battle mode will allow gamers to challenge their friends and show who's the master of piloting chibi characters to greatness, and the Quest Medley mode will allow the freedom of choosing one's own route through various quest lines.

Players will boost their characters' stats by making use of the new Collecta Crystarium system, which allows them to collect cards by winning battles.

The game is coming out for the Nintendo 3DS handhled console, in Japan on April 24, and in North America sometime later this year.
