The Nintendo 3DS rhythm video game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call will launch on April 24 in Japan, Square Enix announced today.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call is based on the Final Fantasy franchise, using the touchscreen controls in cadence with various pieces of music from the series.

The game will be made available in several editions, the Nintendo eShop digital download coming cheaper than the standard retail one.

Nintendo and Square Enix have also revealed the fruition of their collaboration efforts, a limited edition Nintendo 3DS LL (XL) bundle with custom hardware, based on Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, that will come with a digital copy of it already loaded on the SD card.

No localization plans have been yet revealed by Square Enix regarding Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, but as NovaCrystallis points out, the company has recently filed for a European trademark, which can only suggest good news will soon be coming.
