Create and share your own flash games

I am sure there are lots of people who wish to create video games and have some great ideas regarding how they should be, but most of them don't have the required skills. For these people (and not only, since experts are free to join, too), Electronic Arts has created TheSimsCarnival.com, a games portal which allows users to create games, no matter which their level of skill is.

There are already hundreds of video games created by users (EA said that one out of four gamers who visited its website has created at least a game) and it seems that the three tools offered (The Wizard, The Swapper and The Game Creator) are good enough to allow everybody to create his game. One more aspect: the fact that it is called The Sims Carnival has very few common things with the franchise: you can really create any game you want, no matter whether connected to The Sims or not.

This means that if you have already created a flash game (not stolen it from another developer!), you can upload it to the website and allow everybody to enjoy it. And it would be a great thing for you to do, since most of the games are pretty childish at the moment and don't really offer any gameplay. But I am sure that, in time, things will change and we'll get some quality games from people all over the world.

And Electronic Arts is prepared for that moment, since you can already create playlists of your favorite games on the website so you can stitch together the titles you liked most, plus send the games by e-mail or even embed them on social networking sites or blogs. Interested to give it a try? Check the official website, then and start creating.
