The "Tomb Raider" star has answered back at the reports which implied her newly adopted Ethiopian girl was taken from her grandmother. Angelina Jolie insisted the woman showed in a photograph by a recent tabloid has fabricated the story.
According to the article printed in the magazine, Almaz Blfnhe, 45, has been taking care of the baby for four months, after her daughter Mentewabe has died from complications in childbirth. The woman also said she was too poor to look after the baby.
The organization which organized the adoption for Zahara Marley Jolie, Wild Horizons For Children, claimed "the photo is not the woman who they claim it is and the quotes are fabricated", according to the People magazine. Baby-girl Zahara's father is unknown, and her mother is said to have died of AIDS.
Angelina has recently taken her newly adopted girl from the hospital, where she has been treated for one week for dehydration and malnutrition.
Two weeks ago, Jolie went for her new Ethiopian daughter, together with her 3-year-old Cambodian son Maddox. Her dear friend Brad Pitt joined her in the trip.
