The system requirements for Civilization 4

The Civilization series continues to make history and soon, the fourth title of the franchise will be released.

Civilization 4 promises a lot of new features, the most important being: 3D scenery and a more efficient management system.

The combat system has been changed and the player will have a much better control on the cities.

Although the game's release date is not in the near future, the hardware requirements are already known.

In an interview for StrategyInformer, a 2K Games representative stated that the minimum requirements will be: 1GHz processor, 256MB of RAM and a video card with T&L support.

The recommended requirements are: Pentium 4 processor, 512 MB RAM and a video card with performances as good as ATI's Radeon 9800.

The most important detail revealed during the interview was the release date: the summer holiday of 2005.
