LG Electronics Singapore unveiled a new LCD monitor - the award-winning Flatron L1970HR. The world's slimmest in its class at 65mm when completely folded, FLATRON L1970HR comes with a Reddot and iF Design Award 2006.

It has an auto-pivot (90-degree screen rotation for vertical use) and auto-mirror (135-degree rotation for viewing from the opposite side), features a 'forte Hinge' function, which allows this LCD to fold flat, an improved LCD definition which reduces visual exhaustion, and a Ultra-slim One Board Method minimizing shock transmission.

LG's DFC technology, the product of years of research, with a contrast ratio of 2000:1 on the L1970HR, offers users a clearer, crisp and brighter image - just right for multimedia entertainment. DFC operates in the 'Movie Mode', which is optimized for maximum bright movie image and suitable for moving images with various brightness levels.

Besides a 2000:1 contrast ratio (DFC technology), the Flatron L1970HR features a fast response time of 2ms (GTG). Therefore, LG's new Flatron L1970HR is perfect for "extreme gamers" who desire fast motion images with perfect image clarity.

The 19-inch L1970HR is available at a recommended retail price of $699.
