Apple's phone is on the right path

The iPhone is the device that I can hardly wait to be released because - to be honest - I am sick and tired of all these rumors. It's going to have that, that and that, it's going to cost one zillion dollars, "There it is, I have seen it!" and so on. In most cases like this one, the device expected by everyone to hit the market keeps being delayed for "last minute adjustments", and we all have seen situations when a product was delayed so much, that it ended up by going into the myst of forgiveness and never be launched. Are you worried about the future iPhone's fate?

From what I have been hearing recently, there's no need to worry. According to AppleInsider's sources, "people familiar with the matter", the iPhones should begin shipping right on time next quarter, and that doesn't have anything to do with the moment chosen by Apple to reveal the product to the media.

It seems that the delays encountered so far are not really related to the device itself, but rather the problems are linked with the development of a scaled down Mac OS operating system for the iPhone. Since probably we won't see any iPhone announcement today, the most probable launch date remains the Macworld, early next month.

Based on the most common rumors heard so far, the phone will have two initial configurations, the first one having a 4GB memory, and the second one, 8GB, but let's not forget about the 3.5 inch LCD display that should come with the device that's "a bit wider than an iPod nano, but also thinner than a video iPod", according to Rebecca Runkle, the analyst from Morgan Stanley that claimed to have the most accurate info about the iPhone.

Anyway, until we know something for sure, you can keep dreaming about how would you like your iPhone to look like and the features required to make you a happy iPhone user, and I am sure that Apple will live up to most expectations. Stay tuned for more news!
