Here's one new contraption announced by iLuv, the renowned “made for iPod/iPhone” accessories manufacturer, in the body of the iLuv i9200, a nifty Hi-Fi system that's ready to rock your home or office. One of the first things to mention about the iLuv i9200 is its vertical design, created to occupy a small footprint and thus be easy to install in places where room is a main concern, yet a good, quality sound is also needed. Furthermore, to make things really versatile, the iLuv i9200 can also be mounted on a wall, further saving space and adding serious points to the “cool factor” of a home or office décor.

One could, though, observe a slight resemblance to the wall-mounted Bang&Olufsen's Icon, despite the very obvious class difference between the two systems. Nevertheless, the iLuv i9200 and the Icon are, thankfully, two completely different pieces of equipment.

The iLuv i9200 doubles its capacities as a CD and MP3 player, while boasting an iPod dock and radio tuner to grant you a rich and complex multimedia experience. You get no less than 4 separate CD players, whose content can be pre-programmed into a 40-track cue list that's perfect for a romantic evening or a rock party as well.

The iLuv i9200 is also available in white

The radio section can store as much as 16 preset stations for each waveband, letting you instantly access your fav radio content through the simple press of a button. All critical data, including clock and sleep, is available on the center-loaded backlit LCD display, while a full-function remote control will let you access any desired command on the iLuv i9200. The iPod dock comes with multiple adapters, so you'll be able to cradle more than the latest models.

On the audio side, one should also mention the 2-way driver complement, with 45mm HF units and 90mm woofers, capable of delivering a 40W peak power, the subwoofer output, and the headphones jack for quiet listening. Pedestal stands and wall-mounting kit come inside the box, and everything can be yours for $229.99, in an either black or white form.
