While headphones designed especially with the female clientèle in mind could mean a smart marketing move for the audio gear manufacturers, creating a portable loudspeaker system that can be used by ladies does only seem to have way lesser chances for a real shot at glory. The i-Lit Pinky Colour Changing Speakers is a device that does what zounds of other similar gadgets do: it lets you enjoy music from your portable sources such as mobile phone, iPod, or any other MP3 player, without needing headphones, and thus being able to share these tunes with your friends.

Yet, there is a major difference between any speaker set out there and the i-Lit Pinky Colour Changing Speakers: the latter are shaped like a lady handbag, come in pink-ish/purple-ish colors, have feather-like ornaments, and can easily be compared to a female bust.

Moreover, all the above simply prevent most of men from even thinking about using these speakers in public. Nevertheless, the i-Lit Pinky Colour Changing contraptions could make a neat gift idea for a man in search of some wacky present for his girlfriend. These devices also come with LED lights inside the “cabinet,” and a noise-analyzer that makes the LEDs change color.

Though, do not expect a disco light show, as they'll slowly cycle through all the pink/purple palette, and this is one more setback for potential male customers. The lights will also change even if there is no music source connected to the i-Lit Pinky Colour Changing Speakers. It's enough to have them powered up, and they'll react to the ambient noise, be it a quiet chatter or a violent shout.

This speaker system weighs 1.5 kg, and comes with supplied adapter and audio cables. No word on battery power or portability, but the actual price is a steal: while formerly available for $60.60, the i-Lit Pinky Colour Changing Speakers can now be yours for $10.60, with an insane 50 bucks discount.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
