The peripheral will be sold separately and isn't included in any Xbox one bundle

The first image with the Xbox One's wired chat headset has been revealed, showing off the special device that is available as a separate purchase alongside the next-gen console.

Microsoft showed off the Xbox One and its different accessories, like the redesigned controller, or the new and improved Kinect, at E3 2013 earlier this month.

Now, the first image with the console's wired chat headset has been revealed, via IGN.

As you can see, the peripheral retains the design strategy of the Xbox One and features special controls on the wire, including a button to turn off the microphone and two to adjust the volume.

There will be padding on both sides of the headset and, apparently, the device uses a wideband voice codec for a sharper voice chat experience.

The peripheral, as of yet, won't be included with Xbox One consoles, as they feature the Kinect which can act as a microphone for voice chat.
