The Xbox One (both with and without the Kinect sensor) is already selling like hotcakes in Japan, even though it’s still some ways off.

Microsoft’s all-in-one entertainment system will become available in The Land of the Rising Sun on September 4, and the Kinect-less edition of the console will be priced the same as the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment from Sony is.

Microsoft has revealed the launch line-up for the console, listing the games that will be available to gamers once the Xbox One goes live, a total of 29 different titles.

Microsoft: Crimson Dragon, Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5, LocoCycle, Halo: Spartan Assault, Killer Instinct, Kinect Sports Rivals, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, Powerstar Golf, Ryse: Son of Rome and Zoo Tycoon.

Bethesda: Wolfenstein: The New Order.

Capcom: Strider.

CyberStep: Onigiri.

Electronic Arts: Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Need for Speed Rivals, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and Titanfall.

Konami: Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.

Square Enix: Call of Duty: Ghosts (Dubbed version), Murdered: Soul Suspect, Thief and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

Tecmo Koei: Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate

Ubisoft: Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Child of Light, Trials Fusion and Zubma Fitness World Party.

The list of games is pretty much what everyone expected, mostly what’s already been on the launch line-up so far and what has come out since then.

The most impressive thing about the Xbox One coming to Japan is, by far, the fact that the console has managed to top Amazon’s best-sellers list in the video games section.

Not only the “Xbox One + Kinect Day One” package occupies the first position, but two spots down, on number 3, we find the Xbox One popping up again, this time without the Kinect.

Furthermore, Forza Motorsport 5 and Dead Rising 3, two Xbox One exclusive games, are also featured on the list, right after the Kinect-less Xbox One console.

Microsoft also revealed last month that a number of 48 local game developers had expressed their interest in creating software for the Xbox One. In addition to this, the company also revealed that the version of the device that will be delivered in Japan would include two of the console’s major titles, Kinect Sports Rivals and Titanfall, upping the Xbox One’s appeal.

The Xbox One will launch in Japan on September 4, coming in both the Kinect and Kinect-less flavor, and all the currently available accessories, the wireless controller, the Play & Charge kit, voice chat headset, headset adapter and stereo handset, will also become available for purchase, as will the separate edition of the Kinect sensor.
