We don't fix it, we just make fun of it...

Gamers don't joke with a console's system failure...specially when they've paid about $500 for it. You might have already heard about the famous "Red Ring of Death", one of the worst technical problems of the Xbox 360 console. Basically, if you get to see three red lights on Microsoft's console indicator it means that your beloved gadget has suffered a "general hardware failure".

The only logical thing to do when this happens is to send your "deceased" Xbox to a repair center and hope for the best, especially if your warranty hasn't expired. Now, leaving this whole tragedy aside, we can still look on the bright side and make fun of the phenomenon called "Red Ring of Death". You might suppose that this malfunction got its very own South Park episode, just like the Nintendo Wii, before the great launch.

You're wrong and the general hardware failure seemed to inspire a metal band called Distended Warranty to create a song named "Red Ring of Death" and there's even an insanely fun video for it. Seems that Kiss and Korn got together for a jamming session in the honor of the Xbox 360 hardware failure... The song may not be worth a Grammy, but it can still make a gamer smile or laugh, even if his console is "in a coma" at the repair center. You should listen to the lyrics, as they mock most of the console's flaws, its overpricing and overheating.

When will we see a new hit or an album from these guys? Maybe they could make a song about the Wii, or the fact that the PS3 is huge and costs too much... Seems that the console wars have taken all sorts of shapes, even turning into media products like songs or videos in order to appease the unlucky gamers.
