Shimafuji's SEMC5701 or The Space Cube

A Japanese manufacturer, Shimafuji, has created the world's smallest PC - SEMC5701 - which fits in every pocket, using Lineo Solutions' BSP, a Linux vendor in Japan, formerly affiliated with Lineo and Metroworks, based on a 2.4.20 CELF Linux core called Atom Linux.

The Space Cube measures 52 x 52 x 48mm, includes 16 MB of Flash, 64MB of RAM and 300 MHz CPU.

The Space Cube offers numerous number of ports, including USB, Ethernet, flash memory, monitor port and microphone and supports VGA (640 x 480), XGA (800 x 600), and SXGA (1024 x 768) resolutions.

This micro PC runs on a Linux named Atom Linux.

The BSP also features drivers for peripherals on the SEMC5701 board, including the Flash interface (RC28F128J3A-150), RTC (Ricoh RV5C348B), audio (Wolfson WM9707CF/V), Graphics controller (SMI SM722GX040000AB), Ethernet (Intel GD82559ERSL3DG), USB1.0 (NEC uPD720101F), and LED (GPIO).
