Hi-Tech Wealth Inc., a Chinese top consumer sales and marketing company that develops and distributes proprietary and branded digital mobile devices, presented and launched the first light-powered cell phone, named S116.

The phone was exhibited today at the world's famous electronic, IT and telecommunication products trade-show, CeBIT, that takes place every year in Hannover, Germany.

Based on the latest technology, S116 has a battery that charges only with light, not necessary sun's light, but even weak light like the one from indoor. If exposed directly to sunlight for 1 hour, S116's battery will store enough power for 40 minutes of talk time. The phone includes Hi-Tech Wealth's highly appreciated information security technology, supports T-Flash cards and has a 1.3 mega-pixel camera. To protect the S116's breakthrough technology, more than 20 patents were filed in China.

Dr. ZhengYu Zhang, CEO and Chairman of Hi-Tech Wealth, said: "The S116 is a revolutionary product, with unique concepts and features not available anywhere else. The launch of the S116 demonstrates our ability to deliver proprietary and unique products to the high-end consumer market within the PRC. We are delighted with the unprecedented response thus far."

"Today's announcement reflects the successful combination of the world's leading solar-energy and mobile telecommunication technology. We believe that, like our Information Secure Phone and Lady's Smart Phone with Music Player, the S116 should further solidify our premier brand recognition throughout China's luxury market," completed Dr. Zhang.

S116 is available at the moment only in China for the price of 510 dollars and 50,000 units are already pre-ordered.

Hi-Tech Wealth Inc., which sold in China more than 2 million of their "Shang Wu Tong" branded mobile devices, is one of the country's largest telecommunication products supplier and marketing company. Hi-Tech Wealth distributes mobile devices through more than 800 exclusive distributors.
