Bradley Cooper is moving away from his image as a party boy / comedy hunk, and his role in the upcoming drama “The Words” might prove just the thing that will help him do that.

A first trailer for it is now out and, as usual, you can check it out above.

The film tells the story of a struggling writer who, in a moment of desperation, steals another's man work and attains the fame he'd always dreamed of.

However, in life, actions always have consequences, and his will eventually come back to haunt him.

Zoe Saldana plays Cooper's love interest. The film also includes appearances from Jeremy Irons, Dennis Quaid, Olivia Wilde, and Ben Barnes, and will be out on September 21.
