The Woman with Feet Facing Backwards

Disability or the secret for a high velocity? This Chinese waitress has not accepted a disability pension even if she was born with feet facing the other side.

Wang Fang, 27, is a resident of Chongqing (western China) and says she has been able to live a normal life despite her condition, and she is perfectly capable of accomplishing her job duties.

"I can run faster than most of my friends and have a regular job as a waitress in the family restaurant. There is no reason to class me as disabled," said Wang.

When Wang Fang was born, doctors were concerned that she could not be able to walk normally, but her family says not only she can walk normally, but she can actually outrun most of them.

Wang is a mother of a five-year-old boy and, for sure, a brave woman, not interested in sympathy or benefits.
"I can walk as well as anyone else, and even run faster than them. I'm like everyone else - except of course that I put my shoes on backwards," said Wang.

These Chinese women can really come with amazing capacities of overcoming disabilities. Last year, a 77-year-old Chinese grandmother shocked the doctors when they found a 1-inch (2.4 cm)-long bullet located in her brain! Jin Guangying, living in Shuyang town, Jiangsu province, received the bullet when she was shot by Japanese army troops in 1943, during the Second World War, 64 years ago. The 13-year-old girl survived due to the intense care of her mother, which applied her a herbal treatment, but the bullet went undetected and the war wound was forgotten. All her life, she experienced periodic headaches and fits, till the X-ray technology revealed the cause. The doctors safely extracted the bullet.

Also, in 2007, a 39-year-old Chinese woman was found to have just half a brain! Moreover, the woman from Wuhan city (eastern China) bears a completely normal life and only visited the hospital when she felt weak and stiff, but she lacks the left hemisphere of her brain. She even graduated high school with good marks and her memory is excellent.
