14 DAY TRIAL // CD Projekt announced today that it will be showing its upcoming PC role-playing game, The Witcher, to select media at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, held May 10-12 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Media in attendance will get an in-depth look at the various aspects that make The Witcher one of the most anticipated entries in the role-playing genre, including the dramatic story, the tactically deep and intense real-time combat and the incredible technology used to bring the world to life. CD Projekt will be conducting demos in its booth, #6415 in Kentia Hall.
Scheduled for release in spring 2007, The Witcher puts players in the role of the mysterious and legendary Geralt of Rivia, the most prominent of witchers, a brotherhood of mercenary monster-slayers. Players will embark on an enthralling journey set in the vivid universe created by multi-million-selling author Andrzej Sapkowski; a world in which the lines of good and evil are virtually non-existent.
