Fact and fiction... or vice-versa

Critically acclaimed and beloved by fellow gamers worldwide, The Witcher is one of those RPG games that will remain in the gaming history. And you haven't seen everything yet, since The Witcher experience is going to get bigger and better on PC systems and it seems that the entire Witcher universe becomes one more alive and real than many others.

There are two main reasons to say that (at least, at the moment). First, a novel written by internationally acclaimed Polish author, Andrzej Sapkowski, all happening in the Witcher universe (yes, I'm sure you know all the story regarding the author, the game and its inspiration), has just been released worldwide for all the fans of the game (and not only) to enjoy. It presents Geralt de Riv, a Withcer who possesses both magical and alchemical powers, plus a deadly blade as bonus sent out in the world to hunt down creatures that never seemed to be real. But all his adventures and the entire background behind the beloved game will be found by you when you decide to purchase and read Andrzej Sapkowski's book, The Last Wish.

However, this is not the only reason to make us say that the game's universe is growing bigger and bigger and seems to be more alive than ever. There is also a big hint regarding the future one can get if he visits the game's developers website. There, CD Projekt themselves admit that they are looking to hire a PS3 Programmer that has "practical knowledge of programming games for PS3, proven with at least 1 successfully completed project" and "a great will to create games of the world's best top". And, both in English and Polish, "world's best top" could really mean The Witcher. It only seems natural to believe that since the developers are still investing a lot of time into the game, trying to make it better than it already is - a PS3 version, therefore, would seem more natural than a completely new game from CD Projekt. Of course, the developers have not confirmed the rumors yet - because the news is still fresh, but we'll probably hear more on the matter really soon.
