The developers working on The Witcher series at CD Projekt RED announce that they are getting ready to deliver a digital version of the Adventure Game based on the franchise to the PC at some point during the summer and they have launched a teaser trailer for the experience.

The tabletop title is designed to allow gamers to become Geralt or one of another three characters, each of them with their unique skills and personality traits, and then travel the world while hunting monsters, completing quests and forming short-term alliances.

The game was created, in its physical form, in collaboration with Fantasy Flight Games and it seems that the title will use some classic mechanics with a few unique twists based on the world of The Witcher.

The digital version will offer a more complete experience and allows the team to quickly change core mechanics.

The Witcher Adventure Game will be tested during the summer of this year and all those who pre-order The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will get access to two keys in order to try it out.

The third installment in the series is now set to be launched on February 24 of next year and will be offered on the PC, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
