Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the game director working The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, says that his team has no plans to add any sort of stealth elements to the new Geralt adventure.

He tells Dualshockers that “We don’t plan on introducing any stealth elements in The Witcher 3.”

The developer did not offer any reasons for the choice.

Geralt, the main character, is a Witcher who can kill both humans and monsters easily, and the combat system has been updated in order to make combat quicker and deadlier.

Considering the more attractive battle mechanics, the team at CD Projekt RED probably believes that stealth sections would not be appealing to fans of the series.

The coming game will focus more on the way Geralt can track and take out monsters in remote areas of the world.

There are also promises about an improved dialogue system and a more emotional story.

The new title is the final one to feature the character and the studio has promised a massive tweak to the core mechanics, with an open world structure that will make the world more interesting to explore.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be out on the PC and the next generation of consoles from Sony and Microsoft in 2014.

The game might be delayed in order to make sure that all the core features offer the quality that players are expecting from the series.
