The development team at CD Projekt RED suggests that it has multiplayer plans for the upcoming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, although it is not yet ready to offer details on what the game brings for gamers who want to interact with fellow players.

Speaking to Eurogamer, Adam Badowski, the leader of the development process on the game, states, "We’re thinking about something but I cannot explain it now. You can expect some information later on. Sorry for that!"

It's unclear how the open-world structure of The Witcher 3 could sustain a competitive multiplayer experience, so CD Projekt RED is probably aiming to deliver a coop mode where two players can join forces in order to solve particularly tough challenges.

The Witcher 3 is set to launch on the PC and the PlayStation 4.
