14 DAY TRIAL // The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a little over two months away from launch and the development team at CD Projekt still has plenty of surprises for fans of the series before they manage to get their hands on the title, with a new video coming out of PAX East designed to show off one of the biggest regions gamers can explore and some new gameplay mechanics.
The 7-minute-long video is designed to offer a look at No Man's Land, one of the areas of the game that players will need to carefully travel through on horse or on foot, ready to deal with the enemies hiding out there.
There are also a range of quests that can be accessed in the newly shown The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt region, and Peter Gelencser, a senior level designer at CD Projekt, offers details about the environment and explains how gamers can discover a phantom trade route and the organization behind it.
The new monster featured in the footage is a Royal Wyvern, which poses some big challenges to Geralt and allows the team to show the way the combat system for the new game has evolved, offering players more ways to deal with enemies.
The protagonist might seem older and more world-weary, but he is better equipped to deal with monsters and human opponents, with more nibble battle moves and a range of extra options to even the odds against the most powerful threats the world can throw at him.

CD Projekt has already delayed the new title in the very successful series a few times, but it has used the extra time to make sure that the experience lives up to the expectations of the player base.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the first title in the series to introduce an entirely open world that gamers can explore at will, which is several times bigger than the ones the first two games in the series delivered.
CD Projekt says that it will offer its new adventure on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on March 19 all over the world and that this will be the final title focusing on Geralt, although the world might get more installments in the future.
