14 DAY TRIAL // Developer CD Projekt RED has released six brand new screenshots from the upcoming action role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, showing off more of the gorgeous visuals the title offers.
The company has been steadily building up the hype for the upcoming launch over the last few days, releasing new gameplay videos and dropping screen grabs. The images show some new content, and consist of both indoors and outdoors shots, looking absolutely spectacular.
Aside from some breathtaking panoramas, the screenshots also show some of the mythical creatures that protagonist Geralt of Rivia will face in the upcoming adventure, including a cyclop and a griffin.
The storyline will see characters and events from the witcher's past emerge into the spotlight, and will conclude the saga of the white-haired Geralt.
CD Projekt RED has a very good track record so far, which means that the third entry in the popular role-playing series will most likely be every bit as exciting as the company paints it to be.
Furthermore, the Polish video game developer is also working on a science fiction title, Cyberpunk 2077, but for the time being, there is no information on the nature of the project, aside from its dystopian, high-tech setting.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is currently slated for a May 19 release, headed to Windows PC, the Xbox One home entertainment system from Microsoft, and the PlayStation 4 home console from Sony.
