After teasing a special reveal last month, CD Projekt Red has now confirmed its next big project, in the form of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, a new fantasy role-playing game that uses the RedEngine 3 technology and is set to appear in 2014 on the PC and "all high-end platforms available."

The Witcher franchise has delivered some stunning RPG experiences over the years with many fans falling in love with the adventures of the protagonist, Geralt of Rivia.

Now, it seems that Geralt needs to once again embark on an epic quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, a new open world role-playing game that promises huge environments, even bigger than those seen in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, at least according to GameInformer.

What's more, a varied experience is also promised, as players will have to make tough decisions, engage in complex combat, and deal with a variety of other characters.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released in 2014 for the PC and "all high-end platforms available," which could mean that the RPG is going to appear on some unannounced devices, like the PlayStation 4 or Xbox 720.
