Nvidia and CD Projekt Red have just released a brand-new gameplay video with the PC version of The Witcher 3 running on an Nvidia graphics card, depicting all the different GameWorks features implemented in the RPG. From PhysX physics effects, to HairWorks or destruction, lots of great things are showcased.

The Witcher 3 is finally set to debut tomorrow, May 19, all around the world across the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms. The role-playing experience, coming from Polish studio CD Projekt Red, has already received plenty of different videos from various editions of the title across its three platforms.

The Witcher 3 gets a PC video focusing on Nvidia GameWorks effects

Even so, in order to drive the point home that The Witcher 3 looks best on PC, especially one equipped with an Nvidia graphics card, CD Projekt Red and the large hardware corporation have teamed up to make another great video.

As you can see below, the latest batch of footage shows off the Nvidia GameWorks features that are implemented in the PC version of The Witcher 3.

These include all sorts of immersive effects like PhysX effects for clothing as well as for the different monsters and decorations. There's also the HairWorks system for protagonist Geralt but also for animals and other monsters.

Last but not least, there's the GameWorks destruction mechanic that allows players to blow away fences, barrels, furniture, and much more.

"Over three-dozen animals and monsters feature NVIDIA HairWorks for stunningly realistic fur and hair that moves with the creatures movement as well as environmental effects such wind. Clothing on the monsters and Geralt move naturally even in the midst of battle. Flags, banners, and drapes that décor the towns buildings wave in the wind or with Geralt’s swinging sword nearby. When Geralt unleashes his powers, debris flies about the scene," Nvidia explains.

As such, PC users with Nvidia graphics cards are in for one of the most visually impressive The Witcher 3 experiences. In case you don't have one, Nvidia is still bundling with its GTX 900 series video cards a free copy of the RPG, while stocks last.
