After hearing that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the end of the series, a new report has surfaced on the web, claiming that it's just the conclusion of the current trilogy that focuses on protagonist Geralt of Rivia.

The Witcher RPG series, developed by Polish studio CD Projekt Red, has impressed millions of fans from all over the world with its two special installments.

Now, the company is working hard on the third title, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which, according to the manager of the studio, Adam Badowski, is the last game in the series.

However, Eurogamer reports that Badowski made a different statement to other journalists in Poland, confirming that The Witcher 3 is the end of the current trilogy of titles that focused on protagonist Geralt of Rivia.

As of yet, however, it's still unclear whether the studio will continue making Witcher games after Wild Hunt, which is out in 2014.

CD Projekt Red also has in development Cyberpunk 2077, which is expected in the following years.
