CD Projekt Red, the developer of the upcoming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt role-playing game has officially confirmed that the new title is a single-player experience and that it has no place for any "meaningful multiplayer experience."

The Witcher 3 was revealed to the world earlier this year and plenty of details have already been shared by developer CD Projekt Red.

In recent weeks, however, reports appeared about a possible multiplayer mode in the new game, which would be a first for the series.

Speaking with Forbes, however, CD Projekt Red has confirmed that The Witcher 3 is "an epic, story driven, single player, open world RPG experience."

What's more, the studio emphasized that this last chapter in the RPG franchise has "no place for meaningful multiplayer."

The studio is also working on other projects, like Cyberpunk 2077, which is going to feature a multiplayer mode.
