The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt owners on PC will be able to download hotfix update 1.06 for their version of the RPG on Monday, June 15. The patch will arrive for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles later next week, in the form of update 1.05, alongside additional fixes.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launched back on May 19 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms. Since then, developer CD Projekt Red has kept on releasing different updates and patches in order to solve some glitches, bugs, and other issues that were reported by players. At the same time, it's also kept on releasing free DLC packs.

Hotfix patch 1.06 is coming to The Witcher 3 on PC soon

Now, after bringing forth the huge patch 1.05 on PC and 1.04 for PS4 and Xbox One users, CD Projekt Red confirms that a smaller hotfix update is going to roll out at the beginning of next week, probably on June 15, for the PC platform.

The new patch, according to the changelog shared on the official forums, brings a few quest-specific changes but also some bug fixes for specific situations. These include an endless loading screen when fighting the Ice Giant during the Lord of Undvik quest, but also a pretty hilarious one that caused Geralt's clothes to get wet after leaving the menu.

A few other fixes for erratic behavior in some quests, as well as for a specific environmental glitch when entering a crypt to search for Viper School Gear, are also going to get fixed with the upcoming patch.

Patch 1.05 is coming to PS4 and Xbox One with more fixes

Later in the week, depending on how the certification process goes with Sony and Microsoft, the Polish studio hopes to debut patch 1.05 for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the RPG. In addition to the changes listed for PC hotfix patch 1.06, the new update for consoles is also going to bring additional improvements like solutions to a save game issue and a cap for how much money Geralt can accumulate.
