The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt Red has confirmed that it's working hard on optimizing the game across all of its upcoming platforms, so those worried about recent rumors should rest assured about the game.

The Witcher 3 was confirmed to the world last year and, since then, CD Projekt Red has bragged about the game's massive scope, its all-new technologies, and much more.

Recently, however, a report appeared online claiming that the game was struggling to run well on PCs and that on the PS4 and Xbox One its visuals looked like the PC version on Low settings.

Now, developer CD Projekt Red has issued a statement about the rumor, saying that it doesn't comment but that it's working hard on optimizing the game.

"Our dev team is currently working hard in order to make sure that Witcher 3 will be best possibly optimized in all 3 platform versions – PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We cannot confirm any rumors regarding framerate, resolution and/or performance on PS4 or any other platform," the studio said via DualShockers.

As such, fans of the upcoming game shouldn't worry about performance issues and other such problems affecting it.

The Witcher 3 is set to debut in February of 2015.
