The role playing game is ready for its release on April 17

CD Projekt Red has just confirmed that its upcoming The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition for the Xbox 360 has gone gold, meaning it’s complete and ready for its upcoming release next month.

The Witcher 2 delighted lots of PC gamers last year, when it appeared for their platform, and developer CD Projekt Red has worked hard since then to bring the game to the Xbox 360 platform, in the form of an Enhanced Edition that will also be available on the PC, with extra content.

Now, the studio, together with the game’s publishers, Warner Bros. in North America, and Namco Bandai, in Europe, has announced that the game has gone gold, meaning it’s complete and ready to be printed onto retail DVDs.

More details will be shared next week, when CD Projekt Red will organize a special conference in regards to The Witcher 2 and will announce “something truly extraordinary.”

Until then, look forward to the release of The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition on April 17, for the Xbox 360 and PC.
