The Windows Vista Solution Center is designed to centralize an online collection of resources set in place to help you troubleshoot a variety of problems that you might have encountered with your copy of the operating system. However, you will have to keep in mind that the issues presented by the Windows Vista Solution Center are general in nature to say the least. Still, Microsoft does provide a way for you to find a resolve
for a specific problem.

The content on the Windows Vista Solution Center is structured in accordance to the various sources known to generate problems. With the exception of the Top Issues, all the remaining categories deal with some aspect of the operating system, from Error Messages, Installing and upgrading, Using Windows Vista, hardware, Configuring and maintaining, Networking, Entertainment, Mobile PCs and devices and Security and Privacy.

The top issues reveal the supported upgrade pathways to install Windows Vista, and also provide information on the deployment process, the platform's system requirements, and the hardware that is compatible with the operating system, as well as a guideline to understanding error messages. Additionally, there is also data on resolving compatibility problems, activating the product, understanding Reduced Functionality Mode or even how to replace your product key.

But perhaps the most luxuriant category in terms of contents addresses Vista and hardware issues. Microsoft made sure to include references on troubleshooting general device drivers problems, but also specific scenarios tied to digital cameras, monitors, video cards, network devices, printers, hard drives etc.

Otherwise, you can always find a fist answer about the deployment or upgrading of the operating system, about network and security problems and much more.
