It is a sure thing now! Mobile Watch M500 has gone from the state of concept to the one of gadget to be soon released.

Nowadays, mobile phones get smaller and smaller as days go by. The challenge for technology producers has now become that of making all new products come in an easier to handle, reduced size.

It may seem an image sprung out of the SF movies from your childhood, but watches can now be used to communicate in an evolved way with the others. Actually, considering its functions, Mobile Watch M500 is more of a cellular worn around your wrist than a watch.

It supports Triband GSM and has a 400 mAh rechargeable battery that ensures 100 hours of standby time and 120 minutes of talk time. On its LCD display, it offers information regarding signal strength and the battery's power, graphics, numbers and information entered. Navigation through the menu is possible by using the two left and right soft keys.

Interesting enough, it also supports SMS messaging, MP3 and MP4 audio and video playback, as well as Bluetooth, which makes it able to compete with normal mobile phones. Moreover, it has 128 Mb of Memory and USB connectivity for software uploads.

Unfortunately, the Mobile Watch has one drawback. It is not water resistant, but that's not unusual, considering that it is more of a cellular and less of a watch.

Mobile Watch M500's launch has been announced to take place sometime in the near future. Information concerning the price has also remained unspecified.
