Valve says that the game was launched before it was ready

Valve is taking the radical decision of pulling The War Z from the Steam digital distribution service completely, allowing all those who have bought the zombie-powered multiplayer shooter a chance to get their money back.

The official page of the game no longer allows users to use the purchase option.

A statement from Valve reads: “We apologize for this and have temporary removed the sale offering of the title until we have time to work with the developer and have confidence in a new build. Those who purchase the game and wish to continue playing it via Steam may do so.”

All gamers who want the money they have spent on The War Z back can create a support ticket in order to get a full refund from Valve.

The development team previously said that the only problem with the game was poor communication on their part.
