14 DAY TRIAL // A brand new set of listings for The Walking Dead: Game of the Year Edition has appeared at a retailer in the UK, confirming that the game is going to debut on July 25 for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, despite no official statement from developer Telltale Games.
The Walking Dead franchise has come a long way from the critically acclaimed comic books, producing a TV show and a stunning series of adventure games courtesy of talented developer Telltale.
The studio released Season 1 last year and is now rolling out fresh episodes for Season 2 across the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and mobile platforms.
While Telltale expressed its interest in the PS4 and Xbox One, it declined to say if it's going to bring the games onto the new home consoles.
Now, another set of listings for The Walking Dead: Game of the Year edition has appeared at UK retailer Amazon, confirming that the first season of the adventure series will debut for PS4 and Xbox One.
A release date of July 25 is also mentioned, but so far Telltale continues to stay silent about the chance of seeing the game on the new consoles. It's possible that the studio might make the formal announcement next month at E3 2014.
