Kaspersky has taken the necessary steps to dispel all remaining doubt as to who delivers the best security solution for Windows Vista. In this context, the Russian security developer has applauded three "trophies" attributed to its products from three different sources. First off, Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 was voted as the best security solution for Windows Vista by the German magazine com! Das Computer Magazin.

"The magazine's experts gave hi ratings for the quality of the solution's virus detection, the pre-installed firewall, and additional options such as the spam filter, which is capable of recognizing messages that contain graphic spam. The publication also emphasized the solution's low resource requirements compared to competitor products and the accessible price of Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0," revealed Kaspersky.

Additionally, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 was selected as the optimal security solution for Vista by ComputerBild, yet another German magazine. Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 managed to produce an overall score of 2.29, coincidently also the largest score out of all the security solutions tested.

"The runners-up were G Data Antivirenkit 2007 and F-Secure Anti-Virus 2007. Since both products are based on the antivirus engine from Kaspersky Lab, it can be said that Kaspersky Anti-Virus has won the entire winners' podium," Kaspersky added.

But Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 is also a big hit down under. Australian PC User IT magazine has thrown Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 into the lion's den, and Kaspersky emerged successfully. The lion's den is in this context a Windows Vista operating system infected with 400 different samples of malware. "The antivirus and anti-spyware results were as close to perfect as we've seen," revealed the Australian PC User representatives.
