Lately, peripheral producers have tried different designs and technologies to convince users to purchase futuristic-looking keyboards,
made
from unconventional materials. From wireless devices to those with OLED displays, everything has been done, except for one: the VoIP keyboard. (Via

Behind this invention is none other A4 Tech. As you can see in the image, the keyboard looks like a regular one, but in the right-side, the producer has extended it with a phone.
The device is compatible with the most popular VoIP services which include Skype, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, QQ and Net2phone and it also has an additional Audio In/Out port to connect a headset.
The VoIP keyboard comes with an incorporated speaker which allows it to be used in the speakerphone mode.
The device is hooked up to the computer through the USB port and aside from the VoIP phone, you also have at your disposal 8 Office keys and 5 multimedia ones.
A4 Tech will showcase the new product at Cebit 2006, scheduled to start on March 9, in Hannover.
