Pfizer's computers spam with blue-pill ads!

I've decided to call this the "Viagra Zombie" campaign because it involves... well... Viagra and zombies. Now, don't get excited, the blue pill won't transform you into anything hideous or stuff like that, I'm talking about spam-zombies here!

Perhaps you know about the Viagra spam - all those unwanted messages about the way you can get the pill a lot cheaper and that sort of thing. You've probably even received a few of those e-mails. I sure know I got tons! In any case, this type of message is sent to you from other e-mail addresses that are active on spam-zombies. What's one of those? Well, it's a computer that has been infected with a virus which tells it to send all those annoying e-mails.

You probably knew about this already and it's no news to you, but what you probably didn't know is that Pfizer's computers have been infected. And guess what they're doing now! If you said they're sending Viagra-advertising spam messages, you've guessed it! And that's not it, they're also sending messages about knockoff Rolexes and shady junk stuck as Wired informs us.

Thing is, they didn't have any idea about this. Until now! The idea has nothing to do with them. It's all a hacker's fault! This guy made the computers part of a botnet and the pharmaceutical giant's IT managers have never seen it coming!

This is a weird coincidence, but what is really funny is the fact that they also advertise Cialis, which is Viagra's rival on the market. If you ever get such messages, please ignore them. They say that you can buy pills really cheap, but that is just crap. Those aren't always what they're said to be and you could get ill from taking those fake pills! Report the spam to your e-mail client and only buy drugs from authorized vendors!
