It gets just the barest clock tweak to set it apart from the fold

Yet another version of the AMD Radeon HD 7790 graphics card has been picked up by our radar, called VTX3D HD7790 X Edition.

Obviously made by VTX3D, it has just the barest factory overclocking in place, although the cooler at least looks a bit more unusual than on the XFX, Sapphire, HIS and Gigabyte cards. Mostly because the company didn't bother with a shroud.

The new video board runs the Bonaire 28nm GPU at 1030 MHz, but the 1 GB of GDDR5 VRAM is left alone at 6 GHz.

The AMD PowerTune with boost software can be used for further clock tweaking.

Everything else is as AMD intended: a 128-bit interface, two DVI ports, a DisplayPort connector, and HDMI out.

The price should be a bit above $149.99 / 149.99 Euro. Probably by just $10 / 10 Euro or so.
