The V9000 TV Phone from LG

The handset competes with Samsung's SGH-P900

LG presented at the 3GSM convention in Barcelona its latest handset, the V9000.

Aiming at Samsung's
SGH-P900, the phone offers support for the DMB-T standard for receiving wireless digital TV transmissions, which has gained increasing popularity throughout Europe.

The V9000 features a 262k color display, a 1.3 megapixel camera, 3D surround and 30 MB of onboard memory. Another useful feature is the ability to record up to one hour of television shows. The battery allows 3 hours of continuous TV viewing.

The mobile is expected to hit the European markets in the first half of 2006. Information regarding the price has not been made available yet.
