The last time we heard of Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Amoi, they were presenting four very affordable Windows Mobile powered smartphones.

Now, Amoi is aiming for a completely different type of users by announcing a clamshell 3G mobile phone, the A1, featuring a design quite similar to the Motorola RAZR V3. While this is not the first time that Amoi presents a mobile phone that looks very similar to one of Motorola's mobiles, having released the Amoi E70 with RAZR keys a while ago, the truth is that Amoi always manages to release really nice and often smarter phones, therefore, one could say, better than the phones they look like.

The 3G Amoi A1 features a main 2 inch 260k color TFT LCD with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels as well as a 1 inch 65k color OLED external display, a 1.3 megapixel camera and support for MPEG4 video file and MP3 playback. The mobile phone also includes Bluetooth and USB for connectivity and a MicroSD card slot that provides the user with the opportunity of storing a larger amount of files on a memory card.

Therefore, the combination between the memory card slot, the MP3 support and the three music dedicated keys the phone features will not disappoint music fans out there. The RAZR-like mobile phone measures 95 x 47 x 16.2 mm and weighs 100 grams. Price and availability remain unknown so far, but hopefully, more info on this mobile phone will be available soon.
