The Urbz: Sims in the City is a video game made for a variety of home consoles like the Nintendo GameCube, Sony's PlayStation 2 or the original Xbox, as well as for handheld platforms like the Nintendo DS or Game Boy Advance, by Maxis, together with Griptonite Games and published by Electronic Arts on November 17, 2004, in North America, and March 11, 2005, in Europe.
The Urbz: Sims in the City is part of EA's extremely successful Sims franchise, like its name suggests, featuring the regular mechanics of the series, allowing players to customize their own character through all sorts of options, but tasks gamers with helping their character live in a busy urban environment, as opposed to the typical suburban one seen in previous Sims games, and complete story-based quests that grant access to even more customization elements.

-Cannonball Coleman: Loves music and travels around the city playing his saxophone. He can be found outside the University or around Urbania usually.
-Pritchard Locksley: A struggling actor who still enjoys relishing his glory days. Now a waiter, his first love is still acting. He can be found on the streets of SimQuarter most of the time.
-Theresa Bullhorn: She loves watching movies and is very into films, having directed some. She can be found outside the cinema and at the market most of the time.
-Rival gang: Nerdies.
