The Urbz: Sims in the City is a video game released for home consoles, including Nintendo's GameCube, Sony's PlayStation 2 or Microsoft's original Xbox, as well as for portable devices like Nintendo's DS or Game Boy Advance, developed by Maxis in collaboration with Griptonite Games, and published by Electronic Arts on November 17, 2004, in North America, and March 11, 2005, in Europe.
The Urbz: Sims in the City, like its name suggests, is part of the EA's hugely popular Sims franchise, featuring many of the mechanics seen in previous games, but, unlike earlier ones who featured suburban households and small towns, focuses on urban ones in the big city, letting you guide your own character through a series of quests and adventures in the single-player mode, in order to unlock more goodies.
HINTS
Accessing Moon Base Zeta
-Purchase a green meteorite off the Internet shopping. Then, with the meteorite still in your pocket, go to Sim Quarter and use the telephone booth. The moon base, where you can buy the Rocket Bed and Cheese Modulator, is now open. Note: Complete the first group of missions before attempting to open Moonbase Zeta. If it is still not accessible, then complete the secret missions and try again. Also, if it says "Phone home" when you use it, that means it worked and you can use it.
-To get to the moon base, buy a meteorite from the Internet. Keep it in your pocket and go to the red telephone booth in SimQuarter. Go inside, and select "Home". This will take you to the moon base.
Getting to Splicer Island
First, you need to uncover the details of Splicer Island by giving Monkey (the hobo in the park) some food. Next, you must keep the Simquarter open by completing mission set 2. Talk to Sharona Faster at the docks and she will tell you about a water taxi service that she has. Do what she says and a boat will appear. Go on it to get to Splicer Island.
