The Ugly Side of Hulk Hogan and His Family

I was never a fan of Hulk and Linda Hogan - as a matter of fact, I always found their reality TV show ridiculous, their two children overrated idiots and their exhibitionist fame-whoring slightly annoying. But I always imagined Hulk at least (or Terry Bollea by his given name) to have some measure of common sense beneath all that muscle, and I believed him, at least, to be working hard for his fame and the family's money. That may have been the case years ago, but now it seems that Hulk himself has either suffered a serious change of heart, or is finally showing his true colors as he prepares to enter a bitter and no doubt ugly divorce battle against his wife Linda.

The couple are presently separated, and ever since Linda filed for divorce a couple of months ago, it all turned very ugly. Hulk apparently completely cut Linda off financially, announced that he has no intention of paying alimony or child support, and has been repeatedly accused of hiding some of the assets from the sale of the couple's $18 million home in Florida. Now that in itself wouldn't be such a big tragedy - as far as I'm concerned, Hulk and Linda are both equally annoying and partly responsible for the tragedy caused by their half wit son Nick. As I'm sure you remember, Nick Bollea fancied himself a race car driver, so he thought it was a good idea to get behind the wheel drunk, thus crashing his car into a tree in Clearwater, Florida, and critically injuring his front seat passenger John Graziano, who will most likely spend the rest of his life in a coma as a result.

The Hogans had a very lenient attitude towards the tragedy caused by their son, and even had the nerve to blame Graziano himself for his current condition, stating that he wasn't wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Graziano has been in the hospital ever since the crash, and his parents are currently in the process of suing the Bolleas for an expected $20 - $30 million. Which is not much, seeing that John's immediate care right after the crash is said to have cost a staggering $5 million, and he will most likely need special care for the rest of his life. The one good thing Linda Bollea did in this whole miserable affair was to pay for a condo in Clearwater for John's mother Debra to live in while she's tending to her son in the hospital. But since Linda herself has now been cut off, she in her turn had to stop paying for the condo in question.

"Debra is in the middle of her own divorce from her husband, Ed, and has no money to handle the upkeep on the condo and living expenses", a source reports. "Hulk cut off Linda, and that cut off the payments to Debra Graziano. While the lease on the condo goes through September, she could end up being homeless while their lawsuit proceeds. Linda has told Debra that she can no longer help her out". The equally sad part is that while Linda and Hulk's divorce goes on, the case against the Bolleas cannot proceed, and I have a feeling the divorce will be long and bitter.
