Glu will release the Transformers mobile phone game as to join the release of the movie with the same name. This is only one of the many other toys and accessories that will start selling immediately after the movie's release.

The Transformers game features excellent graphics on the PC, although the mobile phone version fails to be impressive in many points. All we have are some rusty looking robots in a dumpy environment that actually follow the path set by old hit and run games.

The game has as a primary task: that of fighting Decepticons all around the world while at the same time helping Autobots to find the Allspark, which stands for the true source of power.

The player takes the role of Optimus Prime and holds the not very original ability of changing from a robot to a truck. This helps him gain speed and force in the battle with his enemies. Even more, fellow Autobots help Optimus Prime win battles through valuable advice. The final task is that of finding the path towards the exit after exploring all the levels and facing fierce attacks.

The good thing about the Transformers mobile game is that controls are extremely easy to use and battles between Optimus Prime and Decepticons prove to be quite challenging. The combat asks for high performances and for an interest from the player for this robot type of games as to look away from its drawbacks and appreciate only the highlights of it.

The Transformers mobile game has been announced for release on the 4th of June. The movie has a story plot which proved it to be highly capable of adapting to that of a mobile game. This, along with a serious amount of publicity on the upcoming title is meant to bring to this mobile game considerably higher chances of becoming quite popular.
