The most important stuff for Apple's future smartphone was already leaked. We've seen the display and the casing. Now it appears the internals are coming out.

A french blog published a few photos that show an alleged Touch ID Fingerprint scanner from the iPhone 6. The mechanism behind the home button is not radically changed from the one of the iPhone 5s. Apple seems to have changed the position of the screw holes from left to right and the design of the connector to the motherboard.

Apple is apparently working with TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) on the Touch ID sensor and the first batch has already been delivered to the manufacturers in China. Therefore, having a photo of the Touch ID Sensor does not seem that farfetched.

According to previous reports, Apple wants to make the Touch ID even stronger than the one found in the current iPhone model. The home button is covered by a thin sheet of sapphire glass, hence the durability. The Touch ID cannot be scratched under normal circumstances.

The reports say that TSMC has already provided the Touch ID sensors for iPhone 6, iPad Air 2 and the third-generation iPad Mini. These test models will serve for the first batch of devices coming out of China's Foxconn and Pegatron factories.

Apple is supposedly ready to release a brand-new iPhone 6 at the end of September. The new model will have a 4.7-inch diagonal display and a higher, more powerful A8 chip.
