It's obvious that movie studios don't love pirates. Well, they hate them actually and would do anything to get rid of the millions of freeloading pirates out there.
But, pirates are people too, right? Just don't tell Hollywood that. And pirates love movies just like the rest of us, perhaps even more. Those downloading a pirated movie aren't necessarily lost customers.
Many would not have seen the movie at all were it not for the option of getting it, illegally, for free. At the same time, after watching it, some of them may go and see in a theater as well, or buy the DVD or BluRay version.
